Welcome to my humble Page...
Hello and Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by! Hello there!! My name is Beth and I want to tell you alittle about myself. I'm 31 years old and Im from Illinois...actually 30 minutes from downtown St Louis.
I have a deep passion for weather, I adore the dog breed of Border Collies, and I collect any Tigers I can find.

My passion for weather first started when I was 7 years old. I decided then that the more I read the more I would learn. Every book report in high school was on weather, storms, cold fronts, tornados, hurricanes, clouds, you name it I did a report on it!
After high school I was to go to Arizona State University to be in the Meteorology program, but I was side tracked by a blind date that I ended up marrying a year later.
Thru the last 11 years Ive took many National Weather spotter classes, worked for the local St Louis television stations as a "weather watcher", which meant that I kept a running log of the high and low tempatures, precipitation,(rain and snow) and the general weather and called them each night to report my area. I enjoyed doing this but it just wasn't enough for me. So, last spring I took an intense spotters class and I now watch the skies during the spring, summer, and fall for tornados and help to warn communities of the presence, which in turn, will help to save lives.
Some day, I will get in the Meteorology department and become that Meterologist I have long dreamed of....even if I'm 90 when I do it!

When I was 5 years old my parents got my brother and I our first family pet...A border collie. He was so sweet and so smart! His name was Morgan and my brother and I loved him as if he was our brother.
Now, Morgan had no idea he was a dog, he truly believed he was human like us. He went everywhere with us and he served us very well for his 18 years of life with us.
Border collies are the smartest breed of dog known, the do anything possible to please their masters and they are very protective of those they love.
They are used as sheep hearding dogs but have become more popular as house dogs. You must give them a job and let them carry out this job or they will become out of control.

I now own my second border collie, Shelby, she's just a year old now and she is wonderful! She is always by my side and is my protector from EVERYONE! lol I'm hoping by next spring she has her first litter of pups.

My brother loves the breed so much he owns 4 border collies! My brother has two deaf females and they work on hand commands but the males go and fetch the females when he gives them the command. Its awesome to watch them all helping each other out.
My Shelby, she is pictured to the right, is mostly black and white but she has a few liver markings on her hind legs. Her most unusual feature is her ice blue eyes.
I highly recommend a border collie for a family. They are loyal, loving, giving, protective, and very obedient!

Now to the Most smartest breed of dog known...THE BORDER COLLIE!
Tigers, TIGGER, snow globes, and Noah's Ark?.......What does it all mean? Well Tigers, TIGGER, snow globes and Noah's Ark are what I collect and adore. I have a whole room, where my computer is, dedicated to the Big Cat family, with an extra added emphasis on Tigers. I have posters, calanders, figurines, and snow globes all with Tigers. I have white tigers, the traditional Bengal tiger, then I have Lions, Panthers, Mountain Lions, BobCats, Cheetah's, and Leapords. I am an active member of the Sierra Club, which takes money donations in the effort to keep the Tigers from being extinct. In my opinion, the Big cat family, is the most graceful and beautiful cat family on earth.
I also collect TIGGER and all his friends from Winnie the Pooh. I have many graphics of Tigger and his pals on my computer that I use when I email friends. To me, TIGGER, represents alot of what I would love to be about, personality wise. He is happy, carefree, spreads joy and laughter to all he meets, and he has some very neat friends. But, then so do I!!
I also collect snow globes. I have big ones, small ones, musical ones, and minature ones. I have birds, fish, tigers, angels, a sports theme one, Christmas ones, Precious Moment ones, and of course several Noah's Ark ones. And that is where the Noah's Ark comes in. I adore that theme so much that I have several shirts that has Noah's Ark on them. I have 5 Noah's Ark snow globes that I treasure deeply. Do you collect anything fun and interesting? Let me know!

I hope you enjoyed your stay here, I sure know that I enjoyed having you here! Please come back anytime....but above all....SMILE!!
